Does anyone have any tipsI'm so used to just throwing together work on the fly i've never really been pushed to develop an idea. I see people producing sketchbooks and reflective diaries which look like time consuming pieces of art in themselves and basically i'm wondering where to begin.
Help anyone?

Many's the time I produced the end product first then hurriedly put the 'sketches' together and kept quite.
BUT.. you will get to appreciate the sketch/design book if you give it a try and eventually value them as art in themselves.
