Made big progress on my shading today managed to produce a fairly recognisable likeness of myself; i will post it soon.
So many things i do seem like such an up hill struggle and for all the effort i put in i have next to nothing to show for it... so its nice to finally feel a sense of acheivment.

A fellow artist and i will hopefully getting some life drawing practice modelling for eachother and i'm very excited. I shall be glad to not have to work from pictures all the time or model for myself using a mirror far to thin.
I ache from contorting in front of the mirror and practicing, but i feel i'll soon b up to a standard where i can produce quick and accurate sketches and actually make use of the opportunity.

Well that was a gorgeous bank holiday weekend.

Arg second time i'm writing this journal... nuiscance unable to find page messages.
Well anyhow i'm feeling pretty positive about my art right now.
Something seemed to click the other day and i've found it a lot easier to work on my male form since.
I don't have to do nearly as many corrections and i'm on average a lot happier with the results.
I haven't tested it out on my female form yet. But hopefully i'll find that easier too.

Well i broke my long period of being unable to put pencil to paper.
I'm concidering changing my mind about going to college for art. Right now the idea of saving and moving out seems a whole lot more appealing.
